Nativity Display Made of Weathered Driftwood, Metal and Gold Washed Paper Pulp for Shelves and Mantels

Shelf Size Nativity Built From Weathered Driftwood and Gold Washed Paper Pulp

A natural material can give a nativity a calm, outdoorsy feel. This display is built from weathered driftwood and a little metal. The gold washed paper pulp figures stand together beneath a shimmering metal star above.

The wood keeps its own grain, so every nativity looks a little different. Above the scene, a metal star represents the Star of Bethlehem. The figures are paper pulp, finished with a gold wash that glints softly.

The finished piece stands near 6.75 inches tall and spans about 10 inches. That small size fits on a mantel, a console or a side table. It also works on a bookshelf or a window ledge.

The muted palette leaves room for other decor on the shelf. Greenery, candles and white lights sit well around it on any surface. Plus, anyone who likes a rustic look will welcome it as a holiday present.
